Golden Eagle Day!
Expecting the worst, we were shocked to arrive to ~ 2" of white fudge sitting on a not as icy as we thought base. Then we hiked out to B-Gully (EPIC), Z-Chute, Job 2 via Morn Glor to the fourth finger,repeat Job 2 via Morn Glor to the meadow.
Ran into two golden eagles. Saw one flying, Adam thought it was raven, went around the corner, even bigger eagle was feasting on dead deer roadkill, flew next to the truck and up into a tree as we drove by. Not quite fast enough with the camera. Amazing!
