Got the biggest ski I could coming back to Bozeman after the holidays. Fresh snow all week along with 4 inches Friday night made for an epic weekend. Adam and I headed to the mountain around 8:30, my first day out since the 29th. Our first run down the High T had me at a disadvantage with the skis. They're demanding, forcing aggressive, weight forward skiing. Came in too hot into the pinch below the whirlpools, snow everywhere, couldn't see, crossed some tips and lost it. Uh-oh. Spent the whole ride up PK worrying how I was going to drag these skis around all day. As luck had it, I was just rusty; Schlasmann's also brought the kind of terrain these skis crave. Steep and deep, anyone? The no camber made initiating turns easy, the 194 length was only cumbersome going slow.
Bottom line: Bridger's amazing. These skis are amazing. Too big? Maaaaayyybe. And they look awesome.
